The Peters Township Indians put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Franklin Regional 35-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Peters Township, who have now won ten matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.
Even if they lost, Franklin Regional's defensive line still kept up the pressure with six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Austin Kerns and Juliano Marion who racked up 4.5 sacks between them.
Peters Township's victory was their seventh straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 11-0. As for Franklin Regional, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.
Peters Township will face off against Moon Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Moon Area has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 161 points over their last four contests. Franklin Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
