Central Bucks West dropped their record down to 12-7 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Souderton Indians, falling 8-1. The contest marked the Bucks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

As for Souderton, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 3rd (when they won 13-0).

For Souderton's part, Tyler Lutz was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Lutz has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Lutz wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Hunsicker, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

While Central Bucks West had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
