The Harman Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Paw Paw 76-47. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Harman in their matchups with Paw Paw: they've now lost three in a row.
Donavan Tanouye was his usual excellent self, scoring 40 points along with eight steals and six rebounds for Paw Paw. The matchup was Tanouye's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Carder, who scored 11 points.
Harman bumped their record down to 0-1 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Paw Paw, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harman will square off against Pendleton County at 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday. Pendleton County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Paw Paw, they will head out on the road to face off against Mountain View Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Mountain View Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
