After flying high against the Hockaday Daisies last Tuesday, the Prestonwood Christian Lions came back down to earth. Prestonwood Christian fell 59-51 to the Friars on Friday. Prestonwood Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Friars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Despite the loss, Prestonwood Christian still got an impressive performance from Kennedy Price, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Price is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kierstin Rink, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Prestonwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 24-5. As for Bishop Lynch, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Nolan Catholic the next time they take the court. Prestonwood Christian will head out to face the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Friars will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
