When it comes to explaining why Big Bear lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aiden Brewer. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 26 points and 10 rebounds. Brewer scored a full 41.3% of Big Bear's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Ryder Dolan was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Silver Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryan Mitchell, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals. Mitchell continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Walker, who scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds.
Big Bear's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Silver Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Big Bear will head out on the road to face off against Excelsior Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Excelsior Charter is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Silver Valley, they will be playing at home against Hesperia Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
