West Mesa had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 8-14 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 20-16 win over the Albuquerque Bulldogs. With that victory, the Mustangs brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Ayden Gonzales was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Scott Wilson, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, one run, and one double.
