Mountain Ridge won the last time they faced Fort Hill and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mountain Ridge Miners were the clear victor by a 57-35 margin over the Fort Hill Sentinels. The Miners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Mountain Ridge found their leader in sophomore Taylor Lamberson, who posted 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lamberson has scored all season.

Mountain Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points over those games. As for Fort Hill, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Mountain Ridge and Fort Hill will both be playing Southern the next time they take the court. Fort Hill will head out to face Southern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Mountain Ridge will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
