The Timberland Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Barnwell Warhorses at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Timberland had to settle for a 6-5 loss against Academic Magnet. That's two games in a row now that Timberland has lost by just one run.
Nicholas Gabel was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Gabel was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Barnwell came out on top against Bamberg-Ehrhardt on Thursday by a score of 7-4 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
The team relied heavily on J Huggins, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaevin Santos, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
This is the second loss in a row for Timberland and nudges their season record down to 3-17. As for Barnwell, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-5.
