The Covington Chargers will head out on the road to  face off against  the Halls Tigers at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Covington has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since  the fifth.

 Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, Halls gave their fans yet another huge  win on Friday. They blew past Clarksburg 13-3. The high-scoring effort was just what Halls needed considering they were shutout in their previous   matchup.
 Covington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Halls,  the  victory  got them back to even at 6-6.
 Covington beat Halls 10-6  when the teams last played  back in May of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for Covington since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
