The Skipstone Academy Warriors were the 37-9 winner over the Peoples Baptist Academy Knights when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Skipstone Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Griffith Teate, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Memphis Housman, who scored 12 points.
Skipstone Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, their victory ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.
Skipstone Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Peachtree Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Bible Baptist Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
