Badger is 9-1 against Chalker since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Badger Braves will be home for the holidays to greet the Chalker Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Badger will be looking to keep their 14-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Saturday, Badger was able to grind out a solid win over Girard, taking the game 47-39. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Badger has scored all season.
Badger had a senior duo take command as Katie Grexa dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds and Hannah Betts scored 12 points along with nine steals. The matchup was Grexa's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Huscroft, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Chalker had to suffer through a rough 41-6 loss at the hands of Bristol. That's two games in a row now that Chalker has lost by exactly 35 points.
Badger's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Chalker, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Badger strolled past Chalker in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 43-28. Will Badger repeat their success, or does Chalker have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
