5A District 9 recap November 13, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 5A District 9 this week, St. Augustine beat Jesuit 34-14. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Purple Knights.
St. Augustine took down the Bluejays 34-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Holy Cross's James Tabary and Jerry Cook have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Tabary has thrown for 1,810 yards this season, while Cook has 58 catches for 738 yards. Cyril Crutchfield's team's Leonard Fournette leads the league in rushing yards with 1,166.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Jesuit takes on Brother Martin. The Bluejays are in fourth place, while the Crusaders are in fifth place.
