Jesse Kelley Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Pine Creek's Jesse Kelley, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kelley made a tackle (1.0 for loss). He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 52 yards.
The victory made it two in a row for Pine Creek and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Kelley and Pine Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Regis Jesuit at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Jaden Lawrence's Big Game Leads Legend over Fountain-Fort Carson
Jaden Lawrence put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.6 yards per carry.
If the past is any indication, Lawrence could be in store for another big game when he takes on Douglas County on Thursday. Lawrence rushed for 233 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 37 receiving yards the last time he and the Huskies duked it out back in October of 2023.

Jace Filleman and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Regis Jesuit picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jace Filleman. Filleman was dynamite, picking up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making six total tackles.
For the season, Filleman has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 16.8 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.38 receiving yards per game.

Fountain-Fort Carson Comes Up Short Despite Huge Game from Underclassman Da'kari Releford Jr
It was an underclassman who stole the show on Friday as Da'Kari Releford Jr came into the match on a mission. Nobody could stop he as he rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Fountain-Fort Carson is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4. Releford Jr and Fountain-Fort Carson will challenge Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Ryken Banks Dazzles in Legend Win
The second Legend player making an appearance here is Ryken Banks, and for good reason. He rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
This year, Banks has averaged 19.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to seven.
