Softball Recap: Richardson Has No Trouble Against Pearce

Richardson lost to Pearce last Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Everything went the Richardson Eagles' way against the Pearce Mustangs as the Richardson Eagles made off with an 8-1 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Richardson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. Pearce has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-1 record this season.

Richardson will venture away from home to take on Irving at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Irving will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Richardson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pearce, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Berkner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
