After soaring to 44 points the game before, Lewisburg faltered in their contest on Friday. They took a hard 0-20 fall against Lake Cormorant. If Lewisburg were expecting to get some payback for the 6-28 defeat against Lake Cormorant the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. The game brought Lake Cormorant to 3-2 and dropped Lewisburg to a mirror-image 2-3.
Next week Lewisburg take on Olive Branch at 7:00 PM. As for Lake Cormorant, they will face off against Grenada. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games.
