With University School of Nashville ahead 33-10 at the half, the match was all but over already.

When it comes to explaining why Dayspring Academy lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Bella Tetterton. Despite the final result, she scored 19 points. Alex Tetterton was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
The last time University School of Nashville lost on the road was back on Tuesday. Having now won three straight away matchups, they've pushed their record up to 1-5. As for Dayspring Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University School of Nashville will take on KIPP Nashville Collegiate at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dayspring Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on University School of Nashville at 6:00 p.m. on January 16, 2024.
