Adirondack and Sherburne-Earlville pushed the score to 24-2 the last time they played Sherburne-Earlville, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Marauders 2-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Adirondack's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Sherburne-Earlville, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
