Finney has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Thursday. They will face off against the World of Inquiry Griffins at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Rochester Academy scored an imposing 72 points two weeks ago, Finney still came out on top. Finney took their game against Rochester Academy 80-72.
Meanwhile, even though Northeast/Northwest College Prep scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, World of Inquiry still came out on top. World of Inquiry managed a 66-60 win over Northeast/Northwest College Prep. The win made it back-to-back wins for World of Inquiry.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead World of Inquiry to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaedon Adams, who scored 25 points along with seven steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Justice Stubbs, who scored 16 points.
Finney's win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1. As for World of Inquiry, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Finney came up short against World of Inquiry when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 79-71. Can Finney avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
