Seaside is 1-9 against Alisal since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Seaside Spartans will head out on the road to challenge the Alisal Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Seaside is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road.
Seaside scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on St. Francis with a sharp 67-47 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Seaside has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, Alisal had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Watsonville as Alisal made off with a 68-45 win. Alisal has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.
Seaside is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Alisal, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3.
Seaside didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Alisal when the teams last played back in December of 2019, but they still walked away with a 71-67 victory.
