Withrow's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Johnson, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Jordan, who scored 11 points.
Withrow struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Aiken racked up 12 assists.
Aiken's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Burnett, who scored 18 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Antonio Hutcherson jr, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Withrow has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Aiken, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5.
Withrow will take on Meadowdale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Meadowdale's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 matches. As for Aiken, they will head out on the road to challenge Woodward at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodward will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Aiken surely won't give up without a fight.
