Patapsco suffered their biggest loss since December 8, 2023 on Friday. They were the victim of a tough 44-24 defeat at the hands of Carver A&T. Patapsco has struggled against Carver A&T recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, New Town's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Dulaney by a score of 37-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat New Town has suffered yet this season.
The losing side was boosted by Nialah Mingo, who scored 17 points.
Patapsco bumped their record down to 3-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.7 points per game. As for New Town, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.
