Baseball Recap: Sedan Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cedar Vale, Sedan was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Caney Valley Bullpups 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Devils have posted against the Bullpups since April 28, 2017.

Sedan pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Caney Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-2-2.

Sedan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-3 victory against Udall on the 14th. As for Caney Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-6 win against Cherryvale on the 15th.
