The Clarkrange Buffaloes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 79-69 to Gordonsville. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Clarkrange in their matchups with Gordonsville: they've now lost seven in a row.
Bryton Swallows and Jack Cordell certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Swallows scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks, while Cordell scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Cordell has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last three times he's played.
Clarkrange has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season. As for Gordonsville, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.
