Make it ten blowout wins for the McAdams Bulldogs this season. They were the clear victor by a 78-57 margin over Ethel. The victory was nothing new for McAdams as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Despite the loss, Ethel saw an underclassman step up: X'zavius Merritt scored 20 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ladarris Hubbert, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
McAdams is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Ethel, they dropped their record down to 4-16 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
McAdams does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ethel won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on February 3rd. Hopefully Velma Jackson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
