Eminence took an ego-bruising defeat against Carroll County three weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back on Thursday. On Thursday, Eminence came out on top in a nail-biter against Bethlehem, sneaking past 44-41. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Eminence's flat performance the match before.
The game started off well for Eminence, whose offense put up 22 first-half points. Bethlehem wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 22-7 heading into the break. Eminence almost let the matchup get away from them in the second half, but they had just enough oomph to take it.
Next week Eminence take on Carroll County at 7:00 PM. Carroll County have averaged 44.8 points over the course of their past three games, so Eminence might be in for a challenge. As for Bethlehem, they will face off against Campbellsville. Campbellsville are cruising in on a five-game winning streak.
