When it comes to explaining why Foundation Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cameron Basden. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Basden hasn't dropped below 16 points for ten straight games. Another player making a difference was Riley Michels, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Bishop Moore was led to victory by Justin Suarez and Cameron Codio. Suarez scored 15 points along with five rebounds, while Codio scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Diego Elias was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
Foundation Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Bishop Moore, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.
Foundation Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against West Orange at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Foundation Academy is facing West Orange at the right time seeing as West Orange is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Bishop Moore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Howell at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Moore is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.2 points per game this season.
