The Glenwood Titans''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lincoln 42-14 at home. The result was nothing new for Glenwood, who have now won five contests by 28 points or more so far this season.
Glenwood was led to victory by Blake Lehnen and Colten Knoedler. Lehnen picked up 172 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Knoedler threw for 302 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Simmons, who gained 100 total yards and a touchdown.
Glenwood's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
Glenwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Bloomington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lincoln will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Rochester knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully Lincoln likes a good challenge.
