Heritage Hills is 9-1 against Southridge since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Heritage Hills Patriots will be playing at home against the Southridge Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Heritage Hills has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,009 points over their last 15 matches.
Heritage Hills put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Forest Park 70-42 at home. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Heritage Hills had established a 20 point advantage.
Heritage Hills can attribute much of their success to Trent Sisley, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds, and Jake Prior, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Prior has scored all season. Hunter Meredith was another key contributor, scoring four points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Southridge made easy work of Tell City on Saturday and carried off a 58-37 win. Given Southridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while Tell City is ranked 430th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Heritage Hills' win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.9 points per game. As for Southridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Heritage Hills didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Southridge in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 42-37 win.
