The Taylor County Bulldogs gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 41-25 win over Riverside Christian.
Taylor County can attribute much of their success to LeeAsia Johnson, who scored 18 points. Ziyah Griffin was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Taylor County's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Riverside Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taylor County will take on Franklin County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverside Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Countryside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
