 Julia Ireland made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with one  home run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madison Page, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  double and one  RBI.
 Even though they lost, Esperanza  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Aliso Niguel struck out seven times.
 Esperanza's record is now 3-5. As for Pacifica, they suffered their first home  defeat, dropping their record down to 6-4.
 Pacifica was able to grind out a solid  win over Esperanza in their previous meeting  back in March of 2024, winning  4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pacifica since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
