  Layah Gaspard and  Addison Hollier did most of the damage at the plate:  Gaspard  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4, while  Hollier  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Hollier is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played.  Ava Bryant was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Lacassine has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 13 of their last 15 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record  this season. As for Crowley, they dropped their record down to 7-13 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lacassine will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against Iowa at 5:00  p.m. As for Crowley, they will  face off against Breaux Bridge at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Breaux Bridge knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Crowley likes a good challenge.
