Softball Recap: Lynn Classical Wins Going Away Against O'bryant

Lynn Classical's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the O'Bryant Tigers 17-5. Considering the Rams have won four matches by more than 11 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Aysia Olaes was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off only two hits. Olaes was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Neveah Eth was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Emma Chevalier, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Lynn Classical was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Lynn Classical now has a winning record of 5-4. As for O'Bryant, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynn Classical will welcome Everett at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Crimson Tide have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for O'Bryant, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ursuline Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.13 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
