It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Woodcreek Timberwolves can now relate to. They were the victim of a tough 40-14 defeat at the hands of the Pacers on Friday. Woodcreek's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Wayshawn Parker was his usual excellent self, rushing for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries for Grant. Parker was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards. Devin Green also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Woodcreek's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Grant, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
Woodcreek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Grant will head out on the road to face off against Rocklin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rocklin's defense has only allowed 14.7 points per game this season, so Grant's offense will have their work cut out for Grant.
