Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverdale). They blew past the East St. John Wildcats 16-1 on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Riverdale pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs over those games. As for East St. John, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverdale will head out to face off against Haynes Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East St. John, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats duke it out with the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
