Baseball Recap: Bishop Feehan's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

After a string of nine wins, Bishop Feehan's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the North Attleborough Rocketeers by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Shamrocks of the 8-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2019.

Randen May made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Bishop Feehan's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for North Attleborough, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Feehan will venture away from home to face off against Cardinal Spellman at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Attleborough, they will head out to challenge King Philip Regional at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
