Jacob Coblentz-Brown was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 24 boards. Graydon Carpet was another key player, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten assists.
Meanwhile, The Webb Schools came into Thursday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 79-68 win over Southlands Christian back in December of 2024.
The Webb Schools' win came from a few key players Tarbut V' Torah will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Josef Sharifi, who went 12 of 21 on his way to 28 points and six rebounds. Those 28 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmie Brown III, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 20 boards.
The Webb Schools was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Tarbut V' Torah's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points per game. As for The Webb Schools, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
