Mosinee fell to Merrill 7-35 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Mosinee took their game against Merrill on Friday 20-6. The success represented a nice turnaround for Mosinee, who in their last game suffered a tough 14-42 loss.
The win got Mosinee back to even at 1-1. The defeat dropped Merrill's record to 0-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week, Mosinee take on Ashland at 7:00 PM. Merrill have some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next contest, which is against Ashland at 7:00 PM in two weeks.
