Boulder City is 8-2 against Pahrump Valley since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 3:30 p.m. The last three games Boulder City has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Boulder City is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Sports Leadership & Management just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Bulls by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since March 17th.

Boulder City got a good showing from Will Teeples, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Teeples has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Boulder City saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steven Uszynski, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.
Meanwhile, Pahrump Valley won against Chaparral on Tuesday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Trojans beat the Cowboys by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 16-1. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by six runs or more this season.
Dominic Chiancone looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Kayne Horibe was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Aidyn Cratty, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Pahrump Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .742. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Pahrump Valley has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Boulder City, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
Both Boulder City and Pahrump Valley just can't seem to miss. The Eagles have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Pahrump Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Boulder City beat Pahrump Valley 7-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
