It was a good run, but R-S Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 4-1 to the East Rutherford Cavaliers. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Hilltoppers couldn't push the score so high this time.

R-S Central's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for East Rutherford, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

While R-S Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
