Locust Fork's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of "dino" Dylan embry, who rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown, and Jalon Boatright who gained 137 total yards and two touchdowns. Dylan embry is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
Fyffe's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Locust Fork, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 12-1.
Fyffe will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Pisgah at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Pisgah knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 13 matches -- so hopefully Fyffe likes a good challenge. Locust Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
