Baseball Recap: Princeton Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Princeton won the last time they faced Sauk Rapids-Rice and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Storm 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Princeton pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.5 runs across that stretch. As for Sauk Rapids-Rice, they moved to 6-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Princeton will challenge Milaca at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.11 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Sauk Rapids-Rice, they will welcome Willmar at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
