On Saturday, Crimson Cliffs came up short against Viewmont and fell 48-37.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alyssa Whittaker, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Kenadee Richey was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 3 steals.
Viewmont can attribute much of their success to Mary Carr, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Carr continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Mulitalo, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Crimson Cliffs' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Viewmont, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crimson Cliffs will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. As for Viewmont, they will head out on the road to face off against Weber at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
