The Campbell Spartans entered their tilt with the Westlake Lions with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Campbell strolled past Westlake with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 53-35. That's another feather in the cap for Campbell, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Brooke Suttle, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tai Harvey, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Campbell's win was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Westlake, their loss dropped their record down to 13-5.
Campbell will head out on the road to challenge East Coweta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully East Coweta focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday. As for Westlake, Westlake and Pebblebrook will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Pebblebrook has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 18.
