Despite the loss, Bartram Trail still got an impressive performance from Gavin Peterson, who rushed for 216 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 219 yards on 13 of 23 attempts. Peterson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run. 80 of Peterson's passing yards were hauled in by Leo Marucci.
Leading Tate to victory were Tanner Clark and Laquarius Bradford. Clark rushed for 113 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 carries, while Bradford rushed for 101 yards and one score on only eight carries. Clark's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.
Bartram Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Tate, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Bartram Trail does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tate, they will host Chiles at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Clark and Gerald Clark.
