Freeburg entered their tilt with Salem on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 54-46 win over the Salem Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Midgets also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Freeburg's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Salem, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Freeburg and Salem will both be playing East Alton-Wood River the next time they take the court. Salem will host East Alton-Wood River at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Freeburg will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
