It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Thomas Aquinas had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 22-0 margin over the Boyd Anderson Cobras. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won 13 matches by 20 points or more so far this season.

A big part of St. Thomas Aquinas' win came down to the chemistry between Sherice Newton and her top target Emmi Merhi. Newton threw for 237 yards and three TDs while Merhi picked up 97 receiving yards and three touchdowns. That's the most receiving touchdowns Merhi has posted since back in March.

The victory (which was St. Thomas Aquinas' fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 20.5 points. As for Boyd Anderson, they moved to 14-2 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

St. Thomas Aquinas didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 32-6 win against Atlantic on the 23rd. As for Boyd Anderson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 19-0 victory against Braddock on the 23rd.
