Tompkins has been on the road for three straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Jordan Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Tompkins brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over Mayde Creek. The result was nothing new for Tompkins, who have now won four matches by three goals or more so far this season.
They hit Mayde Creek with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Andres Diaz (2),
Roman Ryabchenko (2), and
Cameron Burke.
Meanwhile, Jordan narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Katy Taylor 2-1. The win was just what Jordan needed coming off of a 4-0 defeat in their prior game.
Tompkins' win bumped their record up to 8-2-3. As for Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-2.
