Tuscola is 8-2 against Central A & M since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will head out to take on the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Tuscola is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against St. Teresa on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-5 victory. Considering the Warriors have won six matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Ava Boyer, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynlee Ring, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Tuscola always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Central A & M let Clinton stack five runs on them in the fourth inning on Tuesday but luckily Central A & M prevailed anyway. The Raiders skirted past the Maroons 9-7. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Maroons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Gwyn Hardimon made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up six earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs.
In other batting news, Sophie Roe was incredible, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Olivia Kerby was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs.
Tuscola is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Central A & M, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Tuscola has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Central A & M struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Tuscola skirted past Central A & M 7-5 in their previous matchup back in April. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
