The Lanett Panthers entered their tilt with the Valley Rams with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. Lanett took their contest at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 67-40 victory over the Rams. Lanett's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Lanett's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nakeriona Heard, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Camry Boozer, who scored 16 points.
Lanett pushed their record up to 17-4 with that win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28 points. As for Valley, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7.
Lanett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Valley will head out on the road to challenge the Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Callaway's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games.
