The Beth Haven Bearcats have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell just short of Fairdale by a score of 50-47. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Beth Haven has scored all season.
Several Bearcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Harris, who scored 19 points. DaMontez Malone was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Beth Haven's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6. As for Fairdale, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-5.
Beth Haven will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ballard knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 19 matchups -- so hopefully the Bearcats like a good challenge. As for Fairdale, they will head out on the road to face off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
